Punjab to Subsidize Road Project Linking Gujrat with Kharian-Sambrial Motorway

In the wake of heavy traffic load on GT Road, Punjab government has finally released an interlinking motorway (roadway).
In this context, news is out that the provincial government will subsidize the 29-kilometer-long inter-provincial Motorway. Which is connecting Gujrat city with Kharian-Sambrial Motorway. The present feasibility report predicts that an expected expense will range between PKR 8 billion to PKR 10 billion. The source news published on all dailies on the pages on September 14.
According to the sources, the Punjab government has endorsed the said project due to its vitality for the greater interest of the region. It was noted that the acquisition of land and development of a two lane double-sided motorway has been arranged. The fenced link-way will transform it into a mini Motorway as the plan is to link it with the Faisalabad segment.
Additionally, it was announced that the development for the groundwork of the project. It will be laid toward the finish by September and work is now being done by the pertinent divisions. As indicated by the authorities, the freeway will begin from GT Road. The news sources referenced that Gurali Town could be the beginning stage of the venture, which will interface the roadmap with the Motorway from Lakhanwal.
It is appropriate to note that the National Highway Authority (NHA) has previously sent off the development proposal for Kharian-Sambrial Motorway which was under observation. It is a pragmatic expansion of the same proposal–with the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M-11). The news sources detailed that the Kharian-Islamabad part of the motorway has likewise been discussed to be endorsed, however it isn’t yet approved by the authorized bodies.
