CDA Shares 50% Development Work Update Of Bhara Kahu Bypass
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has share the work progresses on the Bhara Kahu bypass is in exciting growth and more than 50% Development Work Update Of Bhara Kahu Bypass has been complete. The bypass is hoped to reduce traffic congestion and pollution, and also facilitate tourists having tours towards Murree.
The announcement was announced by the CDA recently while its Chairman to the construction site. The project had countered dispute earlier when syndicate members of the Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) filed a legal case against it and got a stay order which suspended for around two months.
According to the CDA officials 199 kanal land of the university lies in the precincts of the road, while the CDA has already compensated 225 kanals to the QAU in return. The 5.6 km-long road, which includes a 1km flyover, points from Murree Road at Malpur and ends on Murree Road near the Jugi bus stop adjacent to mall of Punjab Store on Bhara Kahu. The flyover begins from the end of the local bazaar towards Murree.
