LDA Seals Over 15 Properties in Lahore For Illegal Commercial Activities
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continues its crackdown on illegal commercial activities in the city. In the latest property news from Lahore Nexthome.pk learns on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2023 that LDA Seals more than 15 properties on Ferozepur Road and neighborhoods.
Recent Properties That LDA Seals
The sources said, the properties sealed are a private bank, grocery stores, shopping centers, hardware stores, an academic institute, a pharmacy, a real estate consultant office, bakeries, and some food outlets. LDA officials state that several prior notices were issue to the property owners. Nevertheless, due to no action taken we carried out the clearance operation. The operation was taken because they had failed to comply with the property law.
LDA Operation Team
In the anti-encroachment operation Lahore Development Authority (LDA) established a team for demolishing operation. The team to carry out operation headed by the supervision of Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali and Director Town Planning-VII Syed Ali Abbas. The were assist by enforcement teams and local police.
What is LDA Stance on Encroachment
LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa has reiterated the agency’s commitment to conducting relentless operations against encroachments. He add bylaw violations, and unlawful commercial activities will be dealt with strict confrontation.
He further added that “We will not tolerate any violation or illegal encroachment against the law,” Randhawa said. “We advise all property owners to ensure that they are complying with the LDA’s property laws and regulations.”
