RDA’s Crackdown Against Illegal Housing Societies in Full Swing

In a bold move to combat the rising issue of unlawful housing developments, Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa has taken decisive action by directing the RDA’s Crackdown Against Illegal Housing Societies in Full Swing. With the aim of putting an end to these unauthorized projects, the RDA’s Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) division has initiated notifications to the owners of five unapproved private home developments.

  • Royal Ghar (Apna Ghar) Mouza Paryal Chak Beli Khan Road
  • New Iqra City Mouza Dheri Jorian, Rawat Rawalpindi
  • Hoon Farmhouse Mouza Adyala Road Rawalpindi

Action with Sanction on Illegal Publicity

As part of the ongoing operation, the Director of MP&TE has been given explicit instructions to initiate legal action against the unlawful marketing and advertising of these unauthorized projects. This step is crucial to curbing the growth and influence of these illicit ventures, as it targets the very foundation upon which they thrive. By pursuing formal complaints against those who engage in such practices. The RDA aims to deter others from participating in the promotion of illegal housing developments.
